Madonna paid tribute to ABBA earlier: "ABBA's timeless music continues to inspire me. Its joyous Standing still when you hear ABBA is impossible. (...) When I started recording my 'Confessions On A Dancefloor' album, Stuart Price and I played their music constantly. (...) 'Hung Up' is my homage to their contribution to music."

Robbie Williams to Get ABBA Together Again?

LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Robbie Williams is to record a host of songs with ABBA.The 'Angels' singer has been in talks with former ABBA star Anni-Frid Lyngstad about the possibility of releasing several songs with the Swedish quartet, who split in 1983.

Robbie is said to be keen to re-record the group's 1975 hit 'Dancing Queen' among others. Anni-Frid, 60, is thrilled at the prospect of working with the 'Let Me Entertain You' singer and is waiting for him to finalize their plans. She said: "Robbie and I talked about doing an ABBA hit together. He has not yet come back on that one.

"ABBA - which was made up of two married couples, Anni-Frid and her husband Benny Andersson, and Bjorn Ulvaeus and his wife Agnetha Faltskog - have refused many offers to reunite since splitting. However, it is hoped that Robbie could bring the four back together for the first time. A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Maybe Robbie could be the one to get them together again. It would be a sensational coup."
